South Kolkata Nrityangan: Jhinook Mukherjee Sinha has been running a Bharatanatyam dance training institution- South Kolkata Nrityangan, for the last 12 years successfully. The institution, established in November 2005 is a premiere dance school dedicated to the enhancement and promotion of Bharatnatyam, one of the oldest and most graceful classical dance forms. She has been teaching this graceful dance to students varying from 4 year olds to young women and to give them a proper platform for their future, as well as to spread the rich Indian culture in the national and international arena. South Kolkata Nrityangan has developed over the years, and now has a branch in Guwahati, Assam.
Jhinook Mukherjee Sinha is a danseuse in Bharatanatyam with potentiality and vitality. For the last 22 years, it has been a rather pleasant journey for Jhinook, paving her way through the avenues of 'Bhava', ‘Raga' and 'Tala', under the sublime shadow of the maestro Guru Smt. Thankamani Kutty at Kalamandalam Kolkata.
